The Jefferson County Democratic Party stands with the people and for the people of our rural area in upholding democratic values. We are allies and advocate for the fair treatment of all citizens; high quality public education that supports families, educators and communities; a minimum wage that is a living wage; strong unions; affordable healthcare; environmental awareness and protection; and social justice and civil liberties for everyone. We seek to support voters participating in the democratic process and elect our peers to political offices at the local, state and national levels who listen, respond and represent the needs of our area.
